It was a star-studded night at Lincoln Center for the opening night of the American Ballet Theatre. The dance company made its debut at Avery Fisher Hall.
Celebrities came out for the big night, stopping first for the flashbulbs outside the concert hall.
This season, American Ballet Theatre brings three premieres center stage from three contemporary choreographers: Benjamin Millepied, Aszure Barton and ABT’s Artist-in-Residence, Alexei Ratmansky.
Plus, ABT is offering repertory encores of two ballets from the company's vast repertoire: Clark Tippet's Some Assembly Required and Jerome Robbins' Other Dances.
