Fashion Show for St. Jude Children's Hospital

A fashion show with a special conscience and purpose was held at the Armory on Lexington this week. Design Cares featured a runway show of exclusive evening gowns by the world's leading designers. Every dress was up for auction at the event and online to benefit St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

St. Jude Children's Research Hospital works to change how the world treats children with cancer and other catastrophic diseases. St. Jude features research and patient care under one roof. The hospital says that St. Jude is a place where many doctors send some of their sickest patients and toughest cases.

Because all patients accepted for treatment at St. Jude are treated without regard to the family's ability to pay, the facility works hard to raise funds from the public. If you would like to help, see:
