JOB TITLE: Database Administrator (DBA)

RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform technical and operational support activities to ensure that the performance, availability and reliability of Oracle and MS/SQL server databases are consistent with the requirements of the business. Assist and/or leas (as necessary) in the development of tactical plans in support of project objectives. Provide information and insight to guide long term planning and architectural evolution of systems.

REQUIREMENTS: Incumbent must have a minimum of 4+ yrs of Oracle administration, 4+ yrs of MS/SQL server administration, 2+yrs in a technical lead role, 8+ yrs in information technology. Experience managing multiple Databases on a large and midrange systems. Experience with SQL Server replication services; experience with SQL Server clustered warehouses, including experience with MS SQL OLAP and ODBC services. Practical experience in managing the internal and external MS SQL database security.

JOB TITLE: SENIOR STAFF ACCOUNTANT

RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for cash application and billing adjustment processing within the Encoda system. Monthly G/L close including preparing journal entries for revenue, cash receipts, accruals, prepaids and misc billing/receivable. Preparation of monthly expense statements for department heads. F/A & film accounting systems, including additions and removal of assets, running monthly depreciation and forecasting future depreciation. Weekly expense input for Flash. Record and confirm monthly I/C transactions; preparation of quarterly footnote and analytical packages. Prepare annual tax packages; annual Sarbanes test work, monthly revenue reports base-rate; advertiser category, key dayparts, sports etc. Quarterly reconciliation of W-2 information, various BS account analysis and reconciliations, other financial reporting duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS: A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required with a minimum of 3 years proven accounting experience. Must be able to execute detailed financial analysis and be able to meet strict reporting deadlines. The right candidate will be a highly motivated, analytical thinker capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment. Art Director
Experienced Art Directors needed for in-house graphics unit to help fulfill graphic demands for some Fox owned-and-operated TV Stations. Qualified applicants should be proficient in either 2D or 3D animation and able to take on projects, including print and web, as necessary or as assigned. This position will work closely with both client stations and unit personnel to ensure the best outcome. Reports directly to the unit director and works closely with that position to oversee all concepts and designs. Also responsible for developing asset management procedures; short & long term project deadlines; hiring and employee reviews; evaluating and ordering new software, plug-ins and upgrades. Superior communication skills and a proven ability to understand, motivate and inspire an art team are mandatory. Experience with the Mac platform is preferred although a strong aptitude with software trumps the platform.

Required to have at least 5 year’s experience as an art director/design director for a mid to large market television station or cable equivalent. Must have exceptional design and visualization skills and superb communication skills with a proven ability to provide constructive feedback and art direction. Should be expert on one or more 2D and/or 3D programs and familiar with a variety of current software programs and plug-ins. Expected to stay current with technologies and techniques. A positive attitude is a plus. Must be able to work in a team environment and to work overtime as needed. BRA or equivalent degree preferred. Positions located in Tampa, FL.

Artist - Flint/Smoke
Experienced motion graphic designers wanted for in-house unit to help fulfill graphic demands for some Fox owned-and-operated stations. Qualified applicants will conceptualize, design and create motion graphics and animations for news, sales, programming and promotion as assigned. 2D and mid to high level 3D skills required. Experience with numerous OS platforms preferred with Linux and Windows being mandatory.

Required to have proficient working knowledge of Autodesk Flint or Smoke software platforms with experience in creating complex edits or composites utilizing imported 3D elements, motion tracking, image stabilization and effects. Should also be proficient with Autodesk 3D Max or Maxon Cinema 4D as well as the Adobe Suite products including Adobe After Effects and

Adobe Photoshop and/or VDS Liberty/Twister paint. Knowledge of Autodesk Combustion a plus. Must have strong design skills and judgment with the ability to generate a project from concept to completion or work in concert with others. Excellent interpersonal skills are required as well as the ability to successfully work in a team environment with a positive attitude and professional work ethic. Should be highly organized with the ability to multi-task and prioritize under tight deadlines. Expected to be flexible and able to work all hours and shifts as well as being punctual. Experienced 2-D and 3-D graphic animators needed for in-house unit to help fulfill graphic demands for some Fox owned-and-operated TV Stations. Qualified applicants will conceptualize, design and create graphics and animations for news, sales, programming, promotion and web support as assigned. Experience with the Mac platform is preferred although a strong aptitude with software trumps the platform.

Candidates must have two to three years experience as a 2D or 3D animator. Should be proficient with one or more of the following software programs: Maxon Cinema 4D, Autodesk Maya, Final Cut Studio 2, NewTek Lightwave, Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator/After Effects; and with one or more of the following plug-in effects platforms: GenArts Sapphire; Red Giant Image Lounge; Knoll Light Factory and Trapcode Suite; Foundry Tinderbox; Final Effects; Maxon Bodypaint; Zaxworks 3D Invigorator. Experience with the following web applications is a plus: Adobe Dreamweaver, Flash and Fireworks. Graphics Production Assistant
Graphics Production Assistants needed for in-house unit to help fulfill graphic demands for some Fox owned-and-operated TV stations. This position will act as liaison between stations and the unit and will take in graphic orders, assign projects, make sure projects are finished on deadline and ensure delivery. Qualified applicants will also maintain library, file and purge orders and projects as necessary. May also track and order office and art supplies and evaluate and order new software, plug-ins and upgrades. Other duties as assigned.

Previous hands-on graphic design experience required. Must be acquainted with the capabilities of various software programs and plug-ins. Knowledge of newsroom terminology and processes is preferred. Superb communication skills and a proven ability to multi-task and meet deadlines are mandatory. A positive attitude and strong sense of humor is a plus.
