Reid Lamberty joined FOX 5 as anchor/reporter in March 2007 from WCBS-TV, where he served as weekend anchor and reporter.
Lamberty has covered local, national and international news, including the bombing of the USS Cole, the Shuttle Columbia disaster, the September 11 attacks, and the Mepham High School football hazing scandal. His stories have taken him to Bosnia, flying with the Blue Angels, shipwreck diving in New England and to bounty hunting school.
Previously, Lamberty anchored at WFXT-TV in Boston and WKEF-TV in Dayton, Ohio. His broadcast career began at WZBN-TV, a cable station in Trenton, N.J.
Lamberty graduated from Bowling Green State University with a degree in journalism. A New Jersey native, Lamberty currently lives on Long Island. He is married with four children.
